We at Yash college of Education have certain objective before us which we want to imbibe into the individual students. We prepare the students to develop the following skills after using the different Labs:

• To create general awareness among prospective teachers about Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its use in teaching learning.
• To acquaint prospective teachers with different parts of computer system and their functions.
• To develop competency among prospective teachers in use of off-line electronic resources and on-line resources (World Wide Web etc.).
• To encourage prospective teachers in using ICT for improving classroom teaching and professional development.
• To develop vocabulary of ICT among prospective teachers.
• Creating awareness among prospective teacher about Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its use in teaching-learning.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally.
• Assisting the students teachers understand the processes of child development.
• Inculcating in them a value system, which is scientific in nature.
• Helping the learner acquire knowledge and mathematical skills to deal with daily problems of life with confidence.

The college has an air-conditioned Computer Laboratory fitted with fourteen computers with printers and scanners. All academic work relating to holding of seminars and conferences is carried out through the computers. The salary bills of the staff and a part of other accounts are maintained on computers.

Qualified and trained staff is handling the computers and providing instructions to the students. Computer literacy workshops in collaboration with NCTE are regularly held in the computer laboratory for the benefit of teacher educators hailing from the different colleges of education of the state.

It is utilized for making the teacher trainees familiar with the usage of computers- MS Office, Internet and the preparation of ICT based teaching aids.
